Maple Cross, United Kingdom Renault Group Full time

Are you looking to join Renault Group as our Procurement Buyer. In this role, you will be tasked with facilitating and optimising the procurement, for the purpose of indirect services (and goods occasionally) across the organisation. This role is integral to ensuring that the organisation's procurement activities align with strategic objectives, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high standards of quality.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for someone to manage the procurement and supply cycle, by helping internal clients add value to tenders. You will establish effective strategies for a robust contract management process. This will include coordinating the implementation of supplier contracts with various internal stakeholders (H&S, Legal, Security) and creating a contract register.

This role entails management and central reporting such as Puma for the Renault Procurement Group and budget management for central controlling. A key part of the role is to negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions. The job holder will regularly benchmark for clients to gain competitive knowledge within the organisation. A core responsibility is to ensure that all supplier savings are regularly reported, referenced for audits, and aligned with future budget reviews.

Success will be measured via ensuring procured goods and services are within budget and comparing actual spend to allocated budgets. Other considerations include data monitoring and measuring performance, as well as liaising with clients and the legal department. Legal data and documentation will be captured, for compliance and risk avoidance.

Who are you?

The successful candidate will have excellent digital, web and data driven literacy with the ability to use various tools of technology and web-based solutions. You have analytical and methodical ways of dealing with and presenting data alongside strong communication skills. A strong understanding of relationship management and creating a network of value is required. The ideal candidate will understand KPIs and legal performance. CIPS Qualifications and or working to full professional membership is preferable.

What do we offer?

The package includes a contributory pension scheme, an Employee Car Ownership Plan, Car Loan Plan Scheme, medical cover, and flexible benefits that really work for you.

We believe in hybrid working and flexibility and operate a minimum of two days in the office with the remaining three days remote or office working.

We are proud to offer a friendly, fully collaborative, inclusive work environment which offers opportunities for career development and progression as part of one of the largest automotive groups in the world.

Applications should be received by 17th May 2024.
