Job Description - Illustrator  and Graphic Designer Intern


We are currently seeking motivated and creative individuals to join our team as Illustrator & Graphic Designer Interns. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in both illustration and graphic design fields. If you have a passion for design and are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.


‌We currently have an open position for a remote full-time/part-time internship in the design department for a Graphic designer and an illustrator. The duration of this internship would be for a minimum of three months, which can be extended on agreement. This is the time needed for the internship to be valuable for you to learn about the work and be able to see all aspect of the design work. You’ll be joining a passionate team and will be treated as a professional. You’ll be given guidance and support from other members of the team and the company but will always have opportunities to experience real design work. This internship would be remote, and a successful candidate would require a stable Wi-Fi connection, a laptop/computer with a working camera and microphone.

Requirements for the Internship:

  • Possess a diverse portfolio showcasing various design or illustration projects.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a related field or possess equivalent self-taught skills.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies.
  • Genuine passion for design and a strong desire to enhance design skills.

 

Responsibilities for Illustrator:

  • Create rough drafts and refine designs using digital illustration software.
  • Utilise colours, graphics, and effects to visualise concepts effectively.
  • Collaborate with the design team to generate new ideas and styles.
  • Stay updated on the latest design techniques and software advancements.

 

Requirements for Illustrator:

  • Demonstrable portfolio of completed illustrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in illustration or a related digital field.
  • Proficiency in illustration tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Affinity Designer.
  • To be strong with vector-based illustrations.
  • Strong digital drawing skills with attention to detail is a plus.
  • Ability to generate clear, communicative, and engaging concepts.
  • Practice with shadow, lighting, perspective, and colour theory.

 

Responsibilities for Graphic Designer:

  • Design marketing and promotional materials across various channels.
  • Create web graphics, flyers, banners, posters, and other advertising materials.
  • Enhance website and online presence with innovative graphics.
  • Support business development campaigns with marketing collateral.
  • Develop new ideas and concepts through creative thinking.

 

Skills for Graphic Designer:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for design with a creative flair.
  • Proficiency in digital media software, including Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
  • Energy and willingness to generate fresh ideas.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in finalising designs.
