Responsibilities will initially focus on supporting day to day Data Protection Compliance work. Candidate is self-motivated, energetic Data Privacy Professional, with great interpersonal and relationship management skills as well as experience of key privacy laws across the UK, Republic of Ireland and France.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
In coordination with the wider Data Privacy and Protection Team and stakeholders in local business units, the Data Privacy and Protection Analyst will support day to day Data Protection Compliance work with a view to supporting the application of Privacy by Design and continuous improvement of our compliance posture. This may, include:
- Maintaining the integrity of data and processes in PrivTech Tools.
- Hands-on support for the management and upkeep of Records of Processing Activities.
- Hands-on support for Data Subject Requests to ensure their fulfilment and meet regulatory deadlines.
- Hands-on support for Consent compliance and maintaining records of consent.
- Hands-on Data retention & deletion – support the management and enforcement of retention policies and data deletion.
- Supporting the team with Data Mapping/Records of Processing assessments.
- Supporting the team with PIA/DPIA assessments for Risk Management
- Managing vendor risk assessment processes including the review of data processing agreements.
- Supporting the team with International Data Transfer Assessments.
- Awareness and Training – assist in building a privacy-first culture and complying with privacy laws by training employees.
- Supporting the team with handling Personal Data Breach & Security Governance, Risk & Compliance, Security Incident Management, communication, and coordinate with investigations team wherever necessary.
- Responding to ad-hoc queries from stakeholders across the business on any privacy related matters.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2 years of experience with GDPR and other related privacy laws: DPIA, Data Mapping including assessments in Records of Processing Activity and Vendor Risk Management, Consent Management, DSAR & PIA/DPIA.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- The role is ideally pan-European and involves supporting privacy work across English and French speaking jurisdictions.
- Fluency or proficiency in both languages is highly desirable.
- The role can be adjusted to suit the linguistic aptitude of the right candidate.
- Experience with Privacy Management software such as OneTrust is desirable but not required.
- Highly collaborative with outstanding communication and relationship management skills
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience using project management tools or similar.
- Experience developing and deploying project management best practices, procedures, and processes.
- This position is fully remote with the possibility of travelling to one of our offices for onsite compliance work.
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.[OR1]
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or other professional certifications/associations a plus
