Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physical education lessons to students
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging programs that cater to the needs of students of varying abilities
  • Enhance student learning through the use of a wide range of teaching strategies, resources, and technology
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their progress and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and events
  • Lead extracurricular activities and sports clubs, promoting student participation and achievement
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to build confidence and develop teamwork skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching physical education at the primary or secondary level
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum requirements for physical education
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to the wider school community
