Do your analytic and interpersonal skills help you figure out the value of a trade idea? Are you a seasoned trader who is savvy about managing complex risk? Do you want to innovate to meets a variety of clients’ needs?

We’re looking for an Interest Rate Volatility trader to:

• make markets in EUR Vanilla vols and EUR Structured/Exotic products
• push out relative value trade ideas, innovate on structured payoffs
• keep on top of market developments and trading opportunities
• facilitate client order flow by providing liquidity through internal capital or accessing third-party offerings
• follow regulations and internal policies, including quality of execution, pricing, hedging, trading limits and compliance policies
• manage trading, execution, operational and compliance risk, amongst others
• work closely with sales, structuring and trading teams to generate revenue and grow client business

Your team

You’ll be joining a growing Rates Options and Hybrids franchise, specifically working in the EUR vanilla vol and structured team in London. We trade a range of products from OTCs to Structured Notes across the EMEA markets, have global clients, and provide advice, solutions and execution in a simple, intuitive and flexible way. This benefits our corporate, institutional and wealth management clients. As a EUR rates volatility trader, you’ll play an important role in helping our clients identify and access the products and liquidity they need.

Your expertise

• ideally 4-5yrs years’ worth of risk management experience
• know-how to price and risk manage your own book
• proficiency to build tools, with growing focus to take spreadsheet solutions to Python scripts
• previously dealt with institutional and private bank type clients
• Interest rate volatility analysis and modelling skills, with an ability to communicate trading ideas
• master’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field
• regulatory licenses to trade in London
