Frontend Software Engineer - United Kingdom (REMOTE) - InsurTech

The team behind the SaaS Platform seeks a skilled Frontend Software Engineer dedicated to crafting visually appealing and intuitive interfaces that resonate with our clientele. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow engineers, designers, and product managers to conceptualize, develop, and implement a software experience aligned with the product vision.
  • Create innovative frontend features aimed at enhancing customer success.
  • Forge close partnerships with backend developers to seamlessly integrate frontend components with backend services.
  • Optimize the frontend codebase for enhanced speed, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability, prioritizing swift loading times and seamless interactions.
  • Strive for both speed and excellence in code delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Comprehensive expertise in all facets of frontend development, including styling, performance optimization, responsiveness, and the creation of reusable components.
  • Familiarity with APIs to actively contribute to API design dialogues with backend colleagues.
  • Demonstrated prowess in coding.
  • Track record of delivering results.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Keen appetite for continuous learning and professional growth.


Desired qualifications:

  • Experience with Svelte, web components, or similar component models.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, and databases like Postgres and Snowflake.
  • Experience in overseeing and scaling Design Systems in collaboration with Design teams.
