Security Architect


Location: Bristol, (Once a month travel required)

Duration: 3-Months Initially

IR35 Status: Outside IR35 - £595 per day


Company Overview: We are working with a leading financial services organisation who is committed to innovation, security, and excellence in serving there clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work on software development projects to assist with secure development techniques, risk assessments and best practice coding
  • Work on generalised developer start-up documents and engage with the development community to ensure the best practices are documented
  • Work on policy and standards documents around secure coding
  • Manage and run the SDLC security standards and engage with other teams to ensure these are met
  • Maintain and upgrade security best practices around 'no trust networking' in terms of applications
  • Help form and run internal groups to liaise, develop, and enforce future security standard documents
  • Be part of the internal consulting function, ensuring that business groups, developers, etc all contribute, develop and enforce security best practices
  • Technically support and mentor other members of the security architecture group when necessary
  • Salesforce literate Security Architect, who will spend 25% time on the Salesforce project and the rest of the time on the deliverables above
